Wide receiver of Philadelphia Eagles, Jeremy Maclin missed the practice session on Thursday as reported by Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News. Maclin injured his knee while he was practicing on Wednesday. Though it is not that severe one but Maclin’s missing the practice left his status in question.
It seems like Jeremy is always struggling with injuries and this season has been no different because his production has been blocked by his incapability to stay on the field. For this season, Jeremy had six touchdowns and 835 yards but more is expected from him. He could produce more if he stays healthy. Sunday’s matchup will be a descent one for Jeremy if he can play.
He also missed the practice on Thursday but tweeted that he will be surely come to play Friday’s practice. Jeremy has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s final match against New York Giants. But he appears inflexible to play for the Eagles last game of 2012.
Jeremy missed one vital game this season and has scored 65 catches for 835 yards along with six touchdowns. He actually requires gaining 130 yards to set a refreshing new career high. Against Redskins, Maclin scored 116 yards in the 16th Week. He will be returning on Friday for practice and he appears to be fine for Sunday’s finale match against the New York Giants.
Philadelphia Eagles are just playing the match for pride and it is Andy Reid’s final match with this team and Michael Vick’s as well. It can be said that Maclin has not had the reliable season but it is expected that he will be back with his force next year. Needless to say that he is a decent Wide Receiver 3 for Week 17 fantasy leagues.
