Maclin’s Stock Rising

Over the past week I’ve been reading a lot about Michael Crabtree’s stock dropping in the NFL Draft. That mean’s Jeremy Maclin could be moving up some boards. What’s not to love about Maclin? He’s a fast, shifty WR that can run out of the backfield and play on special teams. He’s a lot like Ted Ginn Jr. from a few years ago who I believe went something like No. 9 overall.

I initially thought Maclin would go somewhere around 17-20, but now I think there is a real shot he could be picked in the top 10. The Raiders, Jaguars, and 49ers are all in desperate need of a WR. Someone may take a shot at our boy.

From Rotoworld:

Missouri WR Jeremy Maclin has been medically cleared after tweaking his knee at February’s Scouting Combine.
Dr. James Andrews gave Maclin clearance. The underclassman entrant may not work out at Mizzou’s Pro Day, but will be 100 percent by rookie camps. Maclin (6′0/198) ran an official 4.45 forty at the Combine, but skipped all other drills.
