Are the Missouri Tigers Big 12 favorites? It kind of feels weird saying that. Usually we talk about Oklahoma and Texas. But last year, Missouri was a sniff away from making a BCS game. They have Chase Daniel and Jeremy Maclin to thank for their success. There is no doubt in my mind that Missouri fans expect big things from their team this year.

I just read an article on ESPN.com that was touting the Tigers as BCS Bowl contenders, but it got me wondering… are they contenders, or are they favorites?

Missouri: The Tigers still are chapped about getting left out of the BCS in 2007. Quarterback Chase Daniel and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin are determined to make sure the team isn’t snubbed again in 2008.

What do you think? They have a very strong offense with two Heisman candidates and a balanced defense. If they can take a leap forward and beat Oklahoma, then I think Missouri has a very strong chance at making a BCS game.
